Mobile Broadcaster is published by Medicw Limited ("we", "us" or "our"). This policy explains how the Android application handles information.
The app uses camera and microphone access for preview and user-requested live broadcasting. A live broadcast begins only after you explicitly start it. During a broadcast, video and audio are sent from your device to the RTMP or RTMPS destination you configured. We do not operate a Mobile Broadcaster streaming relay and do not retain a developer-hosted copy of your live media.
The destination you choose may process, record or retain the stream according to its own terms. You are responsible for choosing a destination you trust and are authorized to use.
RTMPS uses TLS encryption in transit. Plain RTMP does not provide TLS transport encryption. Use RTMPS whenever your destination supports it.
Streaming destinations, profile settings and local session history are stored on your device. Destinations are masked by default in the interface. The current app has no Mobile Broadcaster account or cloud synchronization service.
Mobile Broadcaster uses an open-source ZXing-based scanner to import a destination from a QR code. QR image processing and decoding happen locally on your device. Mobile Broadcaster does not send QR images, scan results, or scanner analytics to a developer-operated service.
Mobile Broadcaster does not currently include our own analytics service, advertising SDK, advertising identifier integration, user account system or developer-operated cloud backend. We do not sell personal information.
The app reads limited network, battery and thermal status needed to operate the broadcast and show live health information. This operational information is processed locally by Mobile Broadcaster.
When you start a live broadcast, Android runs a foreground service so the user-requested stream can continue while the app is backgrounded or the screen is off. Android displays an ongoing notification while the service is active.
We do not maintain a developer-hosted account or cloud database containing your profiles or live media. You can delete profiles inside the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling the app removes app-local information subject to normal Android platform behavior. We cannot delete media retained by a destination you selected.
Mobile Broadcaster is a technical broadcasting utility and is not designed or marketed for children.
We may update this policy when product functionality, SDKs, legal requirements or data practices change. The effective date will be updated for material revisions.
